A 3.3 magnitude earthquake hit Tongshan district in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province

A 3.3-magnitude earthquake jolted tongshan district of Xuzhou city, East China’s Jiangsu Province, at 22:13 p.m. Sunday, with a depth of 10 kilometers and an epicenter at 34.32 degrees north latitude and 117.03 degrees East longitude, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.The average elevation within 5 kilometers of the epicenter was about 41 meters.According to the China Earthquake Network speed report directory, in the past five years, there have been five earthquakes of magnitude 3 or above within 200 kilometers of the epicenter. The largest earthquake was a magnitude 3.6 earthquake in Yanzhou city, Jining City, Shandong Province on September 10, 2017 (142 kilometers away from the epicenter).
